One of the cool things about having a personal website is that you can make a museum of your past.
In my different years working within sustainable business, I’ve been really proud to work with business men and women that have re-tooled their lives and careers to work inside of our shifting capitalist system.
One of the first for me was Paul Gilding, who founded Ecos Corporation, and the chance at Ecos to work with Jenni Whitnall, Don Reed, Murray Hogarth, Gabby Greyem, Jim Bahr during an internship in 2002-3 when I was a graduate student on the Master of Environmental Management program at University of New South Wales, Sydney.
The clients I worked with, and the thinking, systems design and modelling that came about were part of Ecos’ writing:
I have fond memories of the small office, Jim and Murray’s banter with Jenni and Gabby, the energy when was Don was visiting, and meetings led by Paul. My Ecos days were a golden era, with some golden sunset surfs after work back down at Maroubra Beach!
