In July 2021, I was lucky enough to be invited into a place on a Grand Canyon River Expedition, in the context of Epsom College’s Warren Pickett Adventure Travel Award.
In the finest traditions of this Award, I wrote a Trip Report for Roger Pickett and Epsom College.
In the opening pages, I share the context for why this was a meaningful trip for me, after Warren’s tragic 17-year old death at Epsom College in 2017. And, how one year later my brother Pete’s life was changed by his experience on this trip in 1995 as one of the first recipient of the Warren Pickett Adventure Travel Award, founded by Warren’s father Roger.
